A Diabetic Alert Dog For Kayla

Kayla is fundraising to get her diabetic alert dog, this is her story.

The life of a diabetic

on December 10, 2013

I am constantly having to go to the doctor. Every time I go, it involves needles and the nurse taking half my body weight in blood. I already have to stick myself 5-6 times a day. They don’t always get my veins either. They usually end up sticking each arm three times before they decide to send me somewhere else to get my labs. No diabetic has a easy life. I live with the constant irritation of needles and busted veins and do not wish this on anyone. 😦
